Nutrition

Many children in South Sudan are currently suffering from Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) and Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM), diseases relating to malnutrition and the lack of a healthy diet. GHHA’s goal is to contribute to the reduction of the alarming death rate resulting from these diseases. GHHA will provide nutritional interventions, especially in those emergency locations in South Sudan created by mass dislocation.

The Nutrition program aims to reduce the incidence of malnutrition and improve overall health. The program’s specific goals are:

  • Providing nutritional interventions, especially in emergency locations in South Sudan created by mass dislocation.
  • Promoting healthy eating habits and practices among communities.
  • Increasing access to clean water and sanitation facilities to improve overall health and reduce malnutrition.
